EY is a quality data, information and services provider that works with financial market companies around the world.

O’Sullivan founded Zeus in 1998 and has grown it into a global packaging force with a turnover of 300 million euros and a workforce of 670 people in 26 countries.

In addition to winning the overall award, Mr. O’Sullivan also won the International category.

“I am deeply honored to have been named EY Entrepreneur of the Year and honored to have been chosen from a pool of applicants who have so impressed and inspired me throughout the competition,” he said. Entrepreneurship is about hard work and dedication, but also about collaboration. This victory recognizes the effort and drive of everyone at Zeus as we make it one of the largest private packaging companies in Europe. We have set ourselves ambitious goals that we constantly surpass, allowing us to double our turnover over the past five years.

“As with many industries, the past 18 months have brought challenges that we could never have foreseen. By working closely with our clients and leveraging our expertise and experience, we have adapted to new market realities. Our objective is now to increase our turnover to 500 million euros within five years, by favoring innovation, people and sustainable development.

Earlier this year, Zeus completed a two-year, € 40 million strategic acquisition program as well as the subsequent acquisition of Limerick Packaging in October 2021.
